Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using sheargeniussociety.com (the "Site"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Site immediately.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including but not limited to designs, downloads, station cards, anatomy and zone diagrams, board preparation materials, worksheets, PDFs, logos, images, text, educational curriculum, game assets, video content, and source code — is owned exclusively by Shear Genius Society, LTD Co. or its licensors and is protected under U.S. copyright law, trademark law, and other applicable intellectual property laws.

No content may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, modified, or used in any way — in whole or in part — without prior written permission from Shear Genius Society, LTD Co. This prohibition applies to all formats including print, digital, and video.

All SGS digital assets are embedded with copyright metadata. Removal, cropping, or alteration of any watermark, copyright notice, or embedded metadata identifier is a violation of 17 U.S.C. § 1202 and subject to statutory damages.

SGS video content is registered with YouTube’s Content ID system. Unauthorized reuploads will be automatically identified and may be blocked or monetized by SGS without prior notice.

Cosmetology schools and continuing education providers wishing to use SGS curriculum, station cards, or educational materials must obtain a valid written licensing agreement prior to any use. Use without a licensing agreement constitutes infringement regardless of whether the use is commercial.

Watermark & Copyright Management

All SGS digital products, educational materials, and downloadable assets contain visible and/or embedded watermarks and copyright management information. By accessing or downloading any SGS content, you agree that you will not:

• Remove, crop, obscure, or alter any watermark, logo, or copyright notice on any SGS file
• Strip, overwrite, or modify embedded file metadata including copyright, artist, or source fields
• Screenshot, screen-record, or otherwise capture SGS content to create an unmarked copy
• Use any SGS asset in a manner designed to obscure its origin or ownership

Violation of these terms constitutes both a breach of this agreement and a violation of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 1202). SGS reserves the right to pursue statutory damages for each violation.

Digital Product License

Purchase of any digital product grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for its stated purpose. This license does not convey ownership. You agree that you will not:

• Resell, share, redistribute, or re-upload any digital files
• Sublicense, rent, or lend files to any third party
• Convert files into competing digital products or free-download libraries
• Remove or alter copyright, watermark, or attribution notices
• Use files in any manner that violates applicable law

Commercial use (e.g., printing and selling finished products) is only permitted when explicitly stated on the product listing.

Orders & Delivery

• Prices and product availability are subject to change without notice
• Digital items are delivered via download link or account access following payment confirmation
• You are responsible for ensuring your device and software are compatible with the file formats provided
• Shear Genius Society, LLC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion

Refunds

All digital sales are generally final due to the nature of instant digital delivery. Please review our full Refund Policy for exception scenarios and how to request support.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Shear Genius Society, LLC does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shear Genius Society, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or its content.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Subscription Plans & Pricing

Shear Genius Society offers the following subscription tiers, each granting full access to the subscriber's enrolled program (Cosmetology, Barbering, Nail Technology, or Esthetics), including interactive games, worksheets, flashcards, practice tests, the community Lounge, and the video library:

• Monthly — $34.99 per month
• Quarterly — $89.99 every 3 months (save 14%)
• Annual — $324.99 per year (save 23%)

All plans include the same content and features. The only difference is billing frequency and price.

Recurring Billing & Auto-Renewal

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly, quarterly, or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing, you authorize Shear Genius Society to charge your payment method on file for each renewal at the then-current subscription rate. Your billing date is determined by the date of your initial purchase.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account page or by emailing support@sheargeniussociety.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you retain full access to all content and features until then. No prorated refunds are issued for unused portions of quarterly or annual plans.

Failed Payments

If a scheduled payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method up to 3 additional times over the following days. During this grace period, your access may be temporarily suspended. If all retry attempts fail, your subscription will be canceled and access to subscriber content will be revoked. You may resubscribe at any time.

Prepaid Cards

Prepaid debit cards and gift cards are not accepted for subscription purchases. A valid credit or debit card linked to a bank account is required to ensure uninterrupted recurring billing.

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, it will convert to a paid subscription at the applicable plan rate at the end of the trial period unless canceled beforehand. Trial eligibility is limited to one per person. Shear Genius Society reserves the right to modify or discontinue free trial offers at any time.

Price Changes

Shear Genius Society reserves the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase takes effect. If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the new rate applies. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated pricing.

Payment Processor

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Shear Genius Society does not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment details. For questions about a specific charge, you may contact us at support@sheargeniussociety.com or review your billing history in your account settings.
